Just to expound: Too many people think suburbs are just a neat wonderful thing you build because it’s “normal” and what you SHOULD ALWAYS be building, and then you just “make [the economics] work” later, because of course that’s what economists and planners are for: serving the public’s demand for suburbs, not telling the public that it can’t or won’t work.
